so Celeste lets herself take it in, just enough that he feels her take a deep breath in, her whole body seeming to relax on the exhale. while he thinks about that night they danced, she's thinking of something totally different: when he pulled her from that nightmarish chamber in the mockery of his own childhood home. it had only been for a moment, but he'd held her while she regained her feet. he had her then, she's got him now.]
